Bangkok is known for its vibrant nightlife and stunning skyline, and I find that one of the best ways to experience both is by visiting a sky bar – especially also to enjoy the sunset and view over Bangkok at night.
The rooftop bars offer panoramic views of the city, along with delicious food, cocktails, drinks, live music, and a stylish atmosphere. Whether you just want to relax, enjoy being on the top of the world, decided to bring your friends, family or a business contact for a nice dinner or meeting,
I can highly recommend you to go Sky and experience it yourself.
Here are some of my favorite sky bars in Bangkok:
Located on the 55th floor of the Centara Grand Hotel.
Red Sky offers panoramic views of the city skyline and the nearby Lumpini Park. Red Sky has a chic modern atmosphere and an extensive cocktail menu. The prices are on the high side, but the view is worth it.
The Char rooftop bar at the Indigo Hotel is one of the coolest rooftop bars in Bangkok.
The Char is located on the 26th floor of the chic Indigo Hotel and thanks to the optimal location as well as the height you can enjoy a fantastic view of the city skyline while having a drink. The sky bar itself is stunning and offer a really cozy atmosphere while you can enjoy vintage cocktails and gorgeous food at fair price.
Located on the 61st floor of the Banyan Tree Hotel, Vertigo and Moon Bar offers 360-degree views of Bangkok. This iconic sky bar has been featured in numerous films and TV shows, and it's easy to see why. The drinks are pricey, but the view is worth it.
Made famous by the movie "The Hangover II". Sky Bar at Lebua is located on the 63rd floor of the State Tower. This luxurious sky bar offers breathtaking views of the Chao Phraya River and the city skyline. It is also the perfect place for a romantic night out or a special occasion.
Located on the 45th floor of the Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit.
Octave Rooftop Bar offers stunning views of the city and a stylish atmosphere.
With three levels and multiple bars, this sky bar has something for everyone. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the happy hour specials are a great deal.
Located on the 29th floor of the Sofitel So Hotel, Park Society offers stunning views of Lumpini Park and the city skyline. The sky bar has a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere and a great selection of cocktails. the perfect place to unwind after a long day of sightseeing.
Now, Bangkok offers a lot more sky bars than “just the ones” mentioned above. The sky bars above are purely my personal favorites, but feel free to explore which one you would prefer when you are next in Bangkok, cause after all, sky bars are a must-visit in Bangkok.
They offer a unique perspective of the city but also a chance for you to indulge in some breathtaking moments, delicious drinks and snacks while enjoying the view.
