EEC Invites Foreign Investors to Participate in Phase 2

For Danish investors and companies seeking growth opportunities, attractive tax incentives, access to a robust workforce, and a thriving Asian market, Thailand is the place for you to go.

The Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Project is nothing short of extraordinary, offering a breathtaking gateway to one of the world's fastest-growing markets.

Situated just a 1.5 to 2-hour drive from Bangkok, the EEC boasts a comprehensive infrastructure and a skilled workforce. Covering an expansive area of more than 13,000 square kilometers, the EEC focuses on S-curve industries such as automobiles, smart electronics, medical and wellness tourism, agriculture and biotechnology, food production, robotics for industry, logistics and aviation, biofuels and biochemicals, digital services, medical services, defense, and educational development. This presents immense opportunities for Danish businesses, educational centers, and investors.

At Dan Thai Net, we had the privilege of meeting esteemed representatives of the EEC, both at their offices in Bangkok and elsewhere and we enthusiastically encourage anyone interested in further growth and expansion, and those seeking to be part of this incredible journey, to get in touch and request more information.

The EEC Project is a government-backed initiative with unwavering support, and it has already successfully completed Phase 1 of its investment plan, which involved over US$50 billions just to improve basic infrastructure and boost investments.

Phase 2 (2022-2026) targets a tentative investment of US$65 billion, and it covers around five industrial clusters supporting the 12 targeted industries: medical health and wellbeing, 5G and digitization, next-generation automotive products, the bio-circular-green economy, and services.

In short, foreign investors are offered a range of incentive packages, including 15 years of corporate tax exemption. Some packages even extend to personal income tax exemption for expat families, along with favorable work and family visa arrangements while operating within the EEC-Zone. Furthermore, depending on the investment scheme, certain investors may qualify for an extended corporate income tax exemption beyond the aforementioned 15-year period.

Having a solid presence in both Thailand and Denmark, Dan Thai Net is uniquely positioned to provide expert consultation for those considering entry into Thailand's market. Our recent successful business promotion tour to Thailand for a Danish Consortium resulted in MoU’s being agreed upon, highlighting the potential for others to come on board as well.

For those eager to explore further, a simple call is all it takes, and we will be more than ready to assist you in capitalizing on the booming Asian market.
